BMW joins star-studded 2024 FIA WEC grid
German manufacturer returns to the top tier of sportscar racing
BMW is set to make a highly anticipated return to the top tier of sportscar racing in 2024, confirming its entry into the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
The German manufacturer will field a pair of M Hybrid V8s in the Hypercar class, the pinnacle of endurance racing.
BMW will join a host of other top manufacturers on the grid, including Toyota, Peugeot, Porsche, Ferrari, Glickenhaus, Cadillac, Lamborghini, and Alpine.
The 2024 FIA WEC season will kick off with the 1000 Miles of Sebring on March 17th, and will conclude with the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 15-16th.
